Although somewhat skeptic, I layed out two balls with a motion hole. The first was a second drill Uranium Buzzsaw; the second a NIB Marvel Pearl.
The reaction on both balls is definitely different than anything else I have thrown. Really long up front, strong on the backend or dry with a lot of hit. This definitely maximizes miss room on a THS. I do not know about a sport shot.
I have tried both balls for several weeks and have had only a few ten pin leaves.
With the Marvel Pearl, I finally have a ball that I can move in past 20 if complete confidence that it will recover and carry. Now I have to learn to trust it. In the mean time, I can ball down to the Uranium and enjoy the great hit and carry even after the lanes break down and the track begins to burn.
If you are wondering about trying the layout, I strongly suggest you give it a try, following the directions as close as possible. I do not think you will be disappointed in the results if you are looking for a longer and stronger ball reaction.
