All Rico Arsenal?

My understanding of the Rico drill is that it's a control drill,that it doesn't
change the overall characteristic of the design of the ball,ie. ball designed to go long,then make it's move,ball designed for more midlane,etc.That being said, has anyone with a 3 of 4 ball arsenal gone all Rico with it?

there is a guy who bowls on my scratch league team with me has 3 balls he brings with him he uses a cell pearl, t road pearl, and a neptune all with the rico drilling he has very low speed and decent revs he had shoulder replacement 2 years ago he avg 207 with 13lbs equpment

I haven't personally done this, but I'll chime in on the subject and put in my two cents.  I don't really think its a good idea to have all all Rico arsenal... then again I always thought the point of the Rico drill was to make it smooth and give you a rollier move to the pocket.  I have a Rico drilled Rapid Fire, and what it does is give me a smoother look than anything else in my bag.  It rolls great when its on the right condition, but when things start to dry up, this ball can be a little harsh in the terms of carry.  I find that I just put it away and go with something that will provide me with a bigger transition at the break point.  A Rico drilled ball is a nice thing to have, but based on my personal experience with my Rapid Fire, I wouldn't make a 3-4 ball arsenal with it.

It most definitely changes the basic characteristic of the ball. It makes it go into a roll earlier and read the midlane earlier and hook earlier, and it reduces the backend. It has the potential to make skid/flip balls into control balls.

+2.  But I love having one rico-drill in the bag.  I've got a Brunswick BVP Wizard with some polish.  Like the Rapid Fire, a solid with polish Rico is very versatile and works on a variety of lane conditions.  Smoothness and predictability are the strengths of this drilling!
