Has anyone ever drill out the CG with your ring finger hole? I have an idea for a lay out for a late day tournament ball just wondering if anyone has done anything like that? This would be putting the pin on pluto about 3 inches up

Depends on the starting top weight. You could have too much finger weight by putting the CG that high. A weight hole above the fingers or a pair of very deep finger holes could fix it.

I always use the lowest top weight I can get because I can flare balls 8+ inches and weight holes can be trouble.
