CG Under or?
« on: March 26, 2011, 11:08:56 PM »
I am thinking of drilling a ball for Reno with the pin under my ring and putting the CG either in my palm or having it under the ring finger.

What difference should I see? My pap is 4 3/4 up 1/4.

Thanks
Shipper

Theoretically placing it in the palm would smooth out the reaction a bit, while placing it under the pin while give you a little stronger backend.  If the ball is A symetric, then you will fine tune with the mass bias placement,   with todays balls the cg does not affect reaction that much, but does play a role in ending static weight.

Thanks for the reply,

The ball is a NIB Columbia Big Shot I have laying around and thought it would work on the shot in Reno and I was thinking of taking it down to 2000 and with a smooth layout.

Thanks again,
Shipper
