Can someone please clear this up for me? I am not quite sure I am thinking of this exactly right.
Pitches...For fingers, reverse is when the "BOTTOM" of the hole is pitched toward the center of grip and forward is when it is pitched above the fingers.
For the thumb, reverse is still gonna be pitched toward the center of grip? and forward would have the bottom pitched down below thumb?
Lateral thumb(based on RH drill), away(left) would be bottom pitched left of grip and right lateral would be going under the palm?

you have forward and reverse mixed up.

On both fingers and thumb?
So "Forward" for both fingers and thumb should be "TOWARDS" center of grip?
"Reverse" for both should be "AWAY from center of grip?

Just thought about it. Say a ball is drilled with 1/4 towards grip on fingers and 1/4 towards grip on thumb as well....If I turn the ball to the side(fingers left and thumb right) to check forward/reverse with the gauge, the fingers will read as forward. The thumb will read as reverse. How come?

Because they are on opposite sides of the center of grip.

So then this is wrong?

"Reverse" for both should be "AWAY from center of grip?
It should actually be:
Fingers, bottom toward grip will be forward.
Thumb, bottom toward grip will be reverse.
???

Cause you need to rotate the pitch gauge 180°.
I don't pay attention to fwd/rev on the gauge, if the pointer points away from grip center then it is forward and vise versa.

No forward is always toward grip center regardless of whether you are talking about the fingers or the thumb.

Ok. I just wanted to double check because the gauge was throwing me off. I did not know I was suppose to rotate the ball when going from fingers to thumb.
