Is label leverage a good layout for dry backends? From my understanding label leverage is good for control and wont overreact on dry back ends. Is this pretty much correct?

I know pin axis layouts are good for control but they tend to hit like crap. I figure with the label leverage the ball will flare early causing it to layoff on the back end. Plus it should still hit great.

What's your favorite control layout?

Im not to sure what drilling this is, for me this would be something like 3"x5" since my PAP is 5 7/16" right and 7/8" up.

Now that looks like the label leverage drilling i'm thinking of. My understanding is this type of layout will give the ball a strong but controlled arc because it flares early enough to layoff a little on the back end but still hit great.

I love this layout because I can play all sorts of lines and lane conditions. This past thursday I started the night out with that ball, played 16-5 with a 226 game, game 2 i lost pin carry and tried different shots and releases, it wasnt anything i was doing, just not carrying. Game 3 I moved to 25 to 10 and ended the night with a 279 game. The layout gives me a nice move off the spot, its not all that flippy its more of a controllable arch, which sounds like you want, this is the layout i think your looking for. This is what i had the ball drilled for and this is what it does to a T! I told the driller how i wanted it done and all he did was drill it.

This is one of my favorites and it DOES flare a bunch! Very strong, yet not too jumpy. It's great for playing a small swing. However, I have noticed that the label 1:30 drill does not finish as hard when you need to move really deep inside. When I move inside, I go to a CG out drill.
