Conventional grips......I forget!
« on: December 16, 2007, 04:15:31 AM »
I've misplaced my Bill Taylor book and I forget.

The front of hole is X inches shorter than the joint????

Pitch of thumb....is this directly from the Bill Taylor charts.
ie 4 1/4 span = 0 therefore a 3 inch span is 5/8 of an inch forward???

Help professional drillers??

Doing some for some young children's christmas presents!

We always considered finger pitches along with the thumb pitches on a conventional grip. As the thumb pitch went forward the finger pitches went away. As the thumb pitches went reverse the finger pitches went under

Not really true...for conventional, the fingers need to be forward as well.  Usually the same amount of forward as the thumb, or close to it.
