Couple of thoughts on some drill patterns
« on: June 20, 2004, 06:29:02 AM »
What would this layout give me?  2 1/2" pin to pap, 1 7/8" above the midline, and the distance from the pin to the mass bias is 7 1/2"?  I heard it was a good drilling for control.  Also has anybody ever drilled a ball where your pin was on your pap?  If you have what kind of reaction did you get?  also what was the actual drilling 0 X what?  or anyone ever do the reverse such as 3 X 0, or 5 X 0?

I saw this on morich's website for a control drilling medium rev rate for the hercules.  The RC was 7 1/2" away from the PAP i thought i will check again to make sure.

This is what the morich site says for a control drilling on a hercules ball...

The PIN to Mass bias position was 7 1/2" the PAP to Mass bias was 6 1/4".
