Storm El Nino 2000

I recently purchased an El Nino 2000 off from ebay....turns out it was  a blem, with the pin 8" out.  Is there any way at all to drill this up (legal or not) just want to use it in church league.  The desired reaction that I want is early roll, not much backend.  Any help would be apprechiated.

Pin Axis might be the way to go.  I would weigh the ball to make sure it is truly 8" pin.
