VISE IT pricing
« on: October 16, 2008, 05:29:43 AM »
Just looking to see a general pricing structure for the VISE IT.

I was thinking $30 for the first ball and interchangable slug, then $15 for every new interchangable slug, and $10 for installation on each new ball, since it is pretty low maintinence.

Any thoughts from shop owners using the IT or from bowlers who're using it?

I'm charging $20 per slug and $20 per ball it's installed in. I prefer it to switch grip. I just installed all my stuff with it. Only thing i dont like so far. With switch grip you can drill inner sleeves with different pitches. With vise it they reccomend to drill all slugs at 0,0. Would this be incase you used excessive pitch and damaged the fitting ball? Anyone messing around with different pitches?

Just the basic round or oval hole should be drilled on the press.  All the routing and workout of the thumb should take place in the actuall ball for the proper fit.  That's why the slug is so tall sitting in the drilling ball, so when it's installed there is enough room to cut down for those with extreme pitches.

I'm sure you can mess with the pitches a little bit on the press without drilling through the side of the slug, but only up to a 1/4" if you have a small thumb.

Thanks for the numbers.
