Degree System vs Distance to PAP
« on: October 03, 2005, 02:33:17 AM »
Could some of the board members who run pro shops let me know the approximate equivalent to a 70 to 75 degree layout in terms of 4"x3" ? What I am trying to accomplish is a drilling with a sharp break point and from what I read in an article in BTM a 75 degree layout should do this. My stats are stroker with high track, r 4 5/8 up 1". Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

4 x 4 this is from pin to cg. 4 x 5 1/2 this from pin to mb.

How to do this with a pro sect scale using degrees.
1) Draw a line 6 3/4 from the pin through the cg.
2) Where is says 0 put that in the center of the pin.
3) Line up the degree part at 15 (90 - 75) degrees. (90 degrees on the scale is 0)
4) Draw a line from the pin 4 inches over and that is your PAP.
