wondering if any pro shop s ahve a Determinator?
how has it worked?
as useful as one would think?
are alot of MB miss marked as some say?
on symmmetrical ball-do the Determinator show it 6 3/4 from pin though cg-always?
tell me more about it please and how you feel it works

We have a determinator and will typically spin every asymmetric ball prior to drill to insure that MB is marked correctly. In general they are, but sometimes there is a good sized difference. We find the determinator to be invaluable when drilling a used or plugged asymmetric ball.
On most symmetric equipment we don't bother spinning them prior to drilling. I have spun a few after just to see where it will fall and in most cased the MB has migrated toward the thumb hole area.

KOTM you say you have two free spinners, they are not the actual determinator?
if not the determinator, did you build this free spinner?
1200UD dollars for a determinator is a lot for my size of shop to swallow.

I'm piecing my extra change together to be the only the third shop in the state of new jersey to have one of these. i selling a ton of used ball to make up some of the difference. i think is a good tool to have in the shop.
