Title: Difference between 2 types of Layouts??
Post by: bowl202 on April 22, 2004, 12:51:06 AM
Using a storm hot rod as an example:
What is the difference, in roll, between a ball drilled axis leverage and one where the pin is in the same positon and the mass bias is in the ball track?

Thanks

The difference is breakpoint shape.  The mass bias on the axis causes more roll for an arcing motion.  Inversely, mass bias in the track will have less roll for more of a flip.

Good luck & good bowling

Thank You. I was looking for something with more of a late breaking arc. Thanks for the response.
