do thumb pitches effect ball tilt?

how much of an effect do thumb pitches have on ball tilt?  Thumb pitches away from the palm create less ball tilt?

Thumb pitches effect how and when the thumb exits the thumb hole. There are no set pitches to create specific things. They enhance whatever the hand and thumb dictate.
