Double Thumb Help
« on: March 12, 2010, 01:42:03 AM »
first time trying the double thumb layout... i layed out and drilled the ball with the balance hole. put it on the scale and it had too much finger weight. so i drileld the fingers deeper. now i have a ball with 1/2 oz side 1/2 finger and a little over 3oz bottom weight.

how do i get that bottom weight under 3oz?

thanks in advance

how deep did you drill your finger? or thumb?

if you don't use iT just drill thumb deeper

NO!!!  Drilling the thumb deeper will INCREASE bottom weight, not decrease it.  Pour enough plug in the balance hole and/or thumb hole and/or finger holes to reduce the bottom weight to less than 3 oz but not enough to increase the finger weight to above 1 oz.  --  JohnP

reweigh your bottom wt and make sure?

I'm w/ John on this one.. If you're definitely over the 3oz wt limit then you'll have to put some plugging in the wt hole..
