I saw a Roto Rush this weekend with a pin-in set-up. It was set 1" over the ring finger. It looked very smooth with a nice arc. What would you think the reaction should be with this lay-out? I saw both a stroker and a cranker use this ball with about the same hook shape. (Bannana)

Some random thoughts:
Not really surprising (that the shape was banana-like) is my guess.
The Rush is an arc-y ball; pin-in balls also make balls go into a roll sooner, making them more arc-y in the appearance of their ball path. Placing the pin/CG above the ring finger hole/bridge area, raises the apparent/drilled RG of the ball, making it go longer, which is not a bad thing for the Rush, generally considered a medium-heavy oil ball.
