Title: drill angle on symmetrical weightblock

Does the drill angle on a symmetrical ball influence the dynamics at all?
Or does it just put the cg in a position so that you can place a weight hole to affect the dynamics??

The way I understand it is this. The placement of the CG on a symmetric ball is used to determine whether or not an extra hole is needed to reach the static weights limits and can be utilized to enhance a balls reaction by causing a hole to be needed/placed in a strategic location.

 For instance. There is a ball you get, but you want it a bit stronger than it is normally. Knowing this, you set the ball up with the pin placement you want and the CG shifted to a place that would dictate an x-hole in a location that would enhance the balls reaction for your individual style.

  For me, 3 inch pin outs with the pin below bridge and the CG in the thumb-positive quadrant allow me to drill an x-hole in that area that, for me, enhances the reaction and seems to work well for me.

 I've used balls like this that, before the addition of the x-hole, didn't seem to kick the corners out like they did after the x-hole was added.

Thanks man.. the main reason for my question was I was going to drill a double thumb layout on a sidewinder.  The pin wasn't quite long enough to have the drill angle like it is supposed to be and still put the weight hole where I needed it.... since it is symmetrical and doesn't have a mass bias I figured it didn't really matter where the 6 3/4 spot from the pin through the cg is..all spots 6 3/4 from the pin are the same..

so I just kicked the cg farther left so that I could get the x-hole next to the thumb.. I haven't drilled it up yet though..
