Title: Drill bit size to thumb slug size.

Maybe a dumb question but.... Ill ask anyway.  Do thumb slug sizes correspond to the drill bit size used.  ie 1 1/4 inch slug to 1 1/4 bit.

PJM300 -- Yes.  They come in 1 1/8, 1 1/4 and 1 3/8 inch sizes and the drill bits used are the same sizes.  --  JohnP

And to add to Phatdon's comments, it also helps to rough the outside of the slug and the inside of the hole with 100 grit sandpaper.  --  JohnP
