Rolling over thumb hole...
« on: October 18, 2006, 08:24:57 AM »
A guy in my league rolls directly over the thumb hole with a xxxcel drilled 3.5 x 3 with a weight hole on the pap.  I am drilling an action max for this guy and was wondering what kind of layout I should put on here to avoid hitting the thumb.  He wants the ball to be as strong as possible on the backend.  Any thoughts?

I was afraid that may be the case.  I thought I saw somewhere that flare holes in certain spots can alter the track.  His track roles over the thumb and away from the fingers.  There is nothing I can do but tell him to change his release?
