Drilling into the CG

if I have a pin in ring finger and want to kick the MB to 25 or 45 I will need a wt hole with a 2-4 inch pin

 What does drilling into the CG vs pap (or on val) have in reaction?

it seams that if I have a high top weight that drilling the cg may make it easier to make leagal.
this maybe is needed for a 315 degree layout I want to try.

any advice drilling GURU's

well, Bob, doesn't that depend on the design of the core? Some cores (diesel) have a flip block on the top of the core. Drilling into the CG does remove a larger portion of the top weight and sometimes the side/finger weight, so shouldn't one drill the depth of this hole VERY cautiously?

Omega I dont quite get what you are asking or saying.You say you have a pin in ring finger and you want to kick the MB 25 or 45 You will need a wieght hole with a 2-4 inch pin.What is pin in ring finger.?Finger hole where the pin is?Are you talking about two different drillings?

If you drill into the core any where you change the differential of the ball so it depends on type of core.The differential is the hieght/wieght of the core divided by width/wieght of the core and the differnce is the differential.

As far as drilling the cg to make legal for high top I dont think so.A 315 degree layout is best to use a pin in ball and if this pin in ball has a high top it will end up being bottom if you invert the pin.So drill the thumb deeper to get rid of the high bottom weight.

If you could go into more detail as to what you are wanting because my views may not be accurate.
