In a fingertip drill with grips, do the grips affect the pitch at all? Thanks!

Depends on the type of grip and yes it does.

I am not sure that all do, But the good ones should, If you use the power lift side of the grip that is about 1/8'' reverse pitch so if your driller drills your fingers with 1/8'' reverse , Now you have 1/4'' reverse .
On the other hand if you use the oval side and want 1/8'' reverse then you drill the ball with 1/8 reverse.

Personally i drill mine @ 0 pitch then use the power lift side and get 1/8'' reverse.

That should be forward. The powerlifts are pitched forward.

If you use lifts then your pitch changes in the Forward direction not Reverse. Reverse is away from your palm and Forward is towards (or under) your palm. This is not true of every insert but as a general rule oval grips don't change drilled pitches.
