Pin/Top Weight Question
« on: November 09, 2007, 01:52:57 AM »
I just bought a Columbia Resurgence on Ebay.  The gross weight is 14lbs 3oz.  The pin distance is 3"-4" and the top weight is 3oz.

I want to have this ball drilled to roll early for heavy oil conditions.

Will the ball specs allow for this?

Thanks,
John C.

Why wouldn't they?  Early roll probably means a lower pin height, putting the CG below the midline unless you're Wes Malott's big brother.  Drill the thumb deeper if side weight is otherwise fine or put the weight hole below the midline if not.
