Title: Drilling help Blue Pearl Hammer urethane

I picked up an old Hammer blue pearl urethane.  Will this ball drill up the same as the newer balls do as far as layouts and pin positions go? Is there a CG mark on the ball? Anything to watch out for when drilling this ball up?  I was told that you need to make sure to have the hammer logo above the fingers is this true? Why?
