Drilling options for low top weight

I have a ball with a 2-3 pin and 1.5 top and my driller didn't seem to confident on drilling this ball because of the top weight does anyone have any suggestions ?

Pick your favorite layout and go. You can have 3ozs top or bottom weight. That means he would have to remove over 4.5 ozs of top weight to go over on bottom weight.

That's going to be hard to do.

If your driller can't figure out how to make a ball with those specs legal I suggest you find another shop. Quickly.

Agreed. Your options are limitless, unless you wanted a crater for an extra hole for some reason.

Still easy- put it 9" over the center of grip like the old days, putting it below the equator. That'll remove bottom weight, creating/resulting in top weight.

its easier to do stuff with lower tops than high tops without worrying about x-holes!!

I like my driller we have a 20 yr history and I found it strange that he said the ball needed 2.5 oz of top,I will stick with him just have to get him to use his brain and figure it out I may put the pin in the ring and stack the cg.
