Need a Pitbull Layout for 47' Scorpion
« on: July 08, 2017, 05:22:56 PM »
OK Masters of the drill and Layout Magicians I could really use your help. I have a Tourney next weekend and will be getting a DV8 Pitbull from a league my Wife and I are in. The Tourney is on the WSOB 47' Scorpion with changing pairs after each game and a total of 4 games.

My stats:

PAP - 5 1/4 over 7/8 up
Speed - 18 to 18.5 at the line
Axis Rotation - 90 degrees
Axis Tilt - 10 degrees
Rev Rate 230

I'm working with a coach on these and have a lot of work to do however my Rev Rate, Tilt, and Rotation won't be changing before next week.

I am comfortable playing the channel and usually play up and down on the 5 or 10 which is fine for the first game. I'm looking for a layout that will give me the ability to move inside as the games progress.

Your knowledge and recommendations are hugely appreciated!!!

Forgot to mention, one reason why I don't move my feet a lot is because I need to have back surgery in the next month or so and I have one position that I know I can do.

Given if your going to have back surgery soon, I wouldn't drill a ball now.

Everything could change about your delivery & release after surgery. You'd then might have to have balls plugged and redrilled, If I had some new balls coming I'd set them back.

See how things go and if changes are needed.

Thanks everyone. I'll wait. The surgery is a fusion of my L3 to L4 and I've already had an L4 to L5 done in 2008.
