cg close to mb, long pin drilling
« on: September 29, 2009, 01:24:50 AM »
i have a ball that has cg very close to the mb, what kind of drilling options i might have?

--------------------
When a house bowler misses the mark, misses the break point and strike, for many ppl its called a wallshot. When a pro does that its call adjustment

When a house bowler gets his finger stuck in the ball and fall on the lanes, for many ppl its called lame bowler. When a pro does that its called the Machuga flop! ha i like this one.

Hard to say without knowing the top weight...but typically a ball with the CG that close with have a low top weight.  As such, have your pro-shop lay the ball out according to the pin / MB and weigh it out prior to drilling.

If there is a bunch of top weight then you have a great candidate for a "trick layout".

bluerrpilot is correct. You can do a lot with longer pin balls. If you are using Mo''s Dual Angle Layouts with Gradient Line Balance Holes you are good. You can really get in to adding extra perfomance to your ball. Also a good canidate for a Double Thumb Drilling.
