Any of you proshop operator use a drilling specs software to record and manage customer specs?
Is it worth the time to use this kind of software?
And which is the best one in the market?

The one from Ebonite cost $140,
I downloaded the DEMO, the software seems a bit complicated, too many info too fill in, I am happy to fill in every info that I needed to fill in for a serious customer, but not with day to day White Dot fun bowler.
Question is the software helping me or causing me more works?

I use a standard three ring binder to organize my layout sheets, using index tab sheets with each tab having three or four letters of the alphabet. I file each sheet immediately after the drilling is complete. I created my own layout sheet in Word, but Jayhawk has one on their website that I probably would have used if I'd found it first. My shop doesn't do a large volume, so a 2" binder will probably hold two year's of sheets. This system probably wouldn't work for a large volume shop. -- JohnP

I built one for my proshop guy about 10 years ago using a database program (similar to Microsoft Access).
He had over 10,000 cards at the time (ended up with over 20,000). He wasn’t the most organized person so they were not kept in real good alphabetical sequence.
It made finding a customers information quick and easy. Plus we kept what they had bought and the way it was drilled and other info.
