Title: Drilling Specs?
Post by: Moe on March 10, 2004, 08:17:42 PM
Can someone explain drillin spec's to me. Or direct me to a site with info on them, i dont understand the whole pin out, CG, Flare, skid/flip stuff...

What would be the purpose of drilling a ball to skid/flip, i dont really see the purpose in that... is it that is conserves energy down the lane and then switches to the different axis before it hits the pocket?  Can someone explain that too.

Im thinkin about gettting a new ball, and would like to understand drilling options.

You can start here:

http://www.jayhawkbowling.com/Pro_s_Corner/pros_corner.html

These two sites should provide you with answers to most of your
questions.

Yea i know that one too  I just wanted site that i could refferance, i could alwlays read through the threads, and do a search.  I asked because there are alot of pro shop guys here, im trying to plan for a new ball.

Im currently bowling with a Ebonite Predator, and possibly looking into getting something new.  And trying to learn as much about drilling layout's, ball characteristics, figure out what would fit my stle, etc. before i just jump in and get a ball that looks good.
