Drilling suggestion
« on: February 07, 2013, 07:03:21 PM »
I have a right handed female customer that tracks over ring finger and approximately 1" to the right of her thumb. Drilled a ball with a Full Roller drilling and did nothing for her. Did reg Full Roller with pin 4" from center of gripo and CG in the center of palm. ANy suggestions on a layout? Normally between me and my staff, we have no issues, but this one has us all scratching our heads. Definately think the Full Roller is the right direction. Only mistake I made was I did not look at track when the full roller was drilled. (my bad)

Does she appear to be throwing a back up ball?  What was her track diameter like?

What is the layout on the non-full roller ball that she rolls over the fingers?  What ball is it?

A change in fit might help eliminate this issue as well.

Her track if you go off right handed drill is over 3 3/4 and up 1/4. If you go off backup it is over 8 3/4 and down 1/4 I do believe. (Going off one of my employees info.) she is throwing a VG Nano and pin is approx 4 o'clock from ring finger and MB approx 1" to right of thumb. Drilled a Columbia Mass Eruption to the backup release and her husband had a coronary. Definitely think the full roller is the drilling needed to get her track to flare off thumb and fingers as to now where it flares over thumb.

I'm working on this scenario... I'll consult someone more knowledgeable than myself this afternoon.

I presume she's rolling over the holes right after release?

After talking to the operator at my local shop who has seen this a handful of times you'll want to take a look at this - http://wiki.bowlingchat.net/wiki/index.php?title=Over_Rolled_Full_Roller
