Hi John178,
There is other information needed before a layout can be reccomended. Do you bowl early or late leagues? What lane conditions do you have? Top Hats,Crowns,Blends? Synthetic or wood lanes? I take it you are a stroker by your description of your rotation. How much tilt do you think you get off of the hand? What part of the lane do you like to play? Inside, track, outside lines?
This info also has to be factored into giving you a layout that will compliment and inhance your game
. Surface is 70% of the reaction of the ball. With that said, if you play an outside lane on a tophat, a weaker coverstock may benefit you better that a strong shell for instance. The more info you give, the chance of getting a optimum layout goes up. Ultimately, you need to have a certified coach or Pro Shop operator watch you bowl. This is the best way to determine how to match up your ball to your game and lane conditions. Good luck! Hope I helped you out. Carl Hoffmire
