Hammer Drillings
« on: June 29, 2005, 11:25:26 AM »
In your typical Hammer Drilling instructions, they list typically list High RG and Low RG drillings.  What do High RG and Low RG refer to in these cases?  I wouldn't think that they are refering to High RG and Low RG equipment, but rather positioning the ball for a cover heavy drilling, rather than a center heavy drilling.  Can anyone explain this to me?

In viewing the drilling specs, it seems that the low RG drilling have pin to PAP distances less than 3 3/8, and high RG drillings have pin to PAP distances greater than 3 3/8.  Is that the simple answer?
