drilling the pin out

i have a ball that the pin was drilled very close to the fingers and the ball has started to bust out around it. would the best thing to do be just drill out the pin completely along with the finger hole and plug it? the ball would still be legal correct?

k i was pretty sure it was, sucks its a great ball but i can see small hairline cracks sprouting from the pin and i want to fix it before it becomes unfixable.

Drill the area out and plug.Make sure you drill out all of the cracked area.You will be better than ever!I do this often.

Repair the complete area and the drill a hole 17/32 close to where the pin was 1" deep, get a dremel tool cut some groves under the surface and plug with you own unique pin color!!!!

i dont really care about having a pin marked, dont plan on getting rid of the beaut of a ball. not unless somebody pries it out of my cold dead hands.
