on asymmetrical use small VAL angles 20-25 deg and smaller MB angles 25-40 depending on the lane condition..
When the ball hits friction it will want to use up its energy very fast and try to roll forward.
Longer pin to paps could help as well but that also depends on the persons axis of rotation degree.
On symetrical.. try something like a double thumb drilling
but I think you can achieve the same thing with any ball by adjusting the surface like suggested..
