Title: Dual Angle Layout

I know that the Dual Angle technique is designed to help better layout one's equipment. However, one of my friends has a layout that he calls the "Dual Angle Layout". He said it was designed my Mo Pinel to give a different look on the lanes for assymetrics. He claims that with this drilling, the ball hooks twice. Once around 35' and then at the end of the pattern. I have never heard of this drilling. Can someone give some insight on the specs of the "double hook" layout?

Once the ball hooks thats it. No stop and go type reaction. It either rolls early and continue to hook or delayed and hooks on the backend. No way it can hook twice.

Jared when Jonathon told you that he was exaggerating a bit.  I drilled it and it revs early but has great continuation on our house pattern it almost appears to flip in the midlane then again in the backend, but it's just the early revs plus dry backends.  It's a 60* drill angle 3 1/2 pin to pap and a 30 * VAL angle.  The only thing different from a standard assym drill is I tried out one of Mo's gradient holes on it.

I'm not sure I don't get BJI anymore, but there was a lot of discussion about the gradient line theory on this forum about a month ago.

NicholasE, actually I have seen a ball hook twice - once at about the arrows and again at the end of the pattern.  An old black Angle at state tournament once.  I threw it one shot then switched to my white dot.  I wanted nothing to do with whatever was going on on the lane.
