Would like some help on a dual angle layout.I am trying to find what they call the sweet spot.Going to drill a Brunswick Platinum Ringer Symmetrical ball.Mostly for the THS.Any help greatly appreciated as this dual angle is all new to me.

Here is my specs
16mph at the foul line
Rev Rate 390-400
75*axis rotation
17* axis tilt
Pap is 5 over 1/4 up

Would a 50*x 4x 70* be a pin down drilling, based on the PAP above? Or is this drilling doable pin up or pin down?

Dual angle layouts are not pin up/pin down flexible...  that would completely negate the precision of using the system.

Pin should be just right of the ring  finger (depends on span) or in the ring finger slightly... PSA would be just below the thumb hole with a symmetric core or below and just right of the thumb hole if the core had a pre-drilled intermediate mass bias of 0.015 or  higher...

Thanks for the replies guys.But still kinda confused One says 60 x 4 x 30 another says 50 x 4 x 70.Seems to me thats quite a bit different from each other.Do I toss a coin and see if I end up with a doorstop? Just kidding I got plenty already.

Well I drill my own stuff.Its safer around here.Driller here is terrible.I am trying to learn the dual angle stuff.But thanks for the input.

Sorry to have confused you, BowlingforSoup. I was only asking about the 50x4x70 drilling as an aside to your original question. It is just a drilling I was interested in.

Jesse, Drillings in the area of 50 x 4 x 70 give or take 5 degrees or so is one of my favorite drillings. My PAP is 4 x 1/2 up and that drilling places the Pin under my RF.

I suppose I'm just not a big fan of going with a larger val angle than initial angle for a house shot . . I don't get the point. 

To me the point is what works best for the bowler and his style of bowling. On THS, the 50 x 4 x 70 give or take 5 degrees like 50 x 4 x 65 that I have on 2 new MOTIV balls works perfect for me on THS.
