Anyone use Grip-loc?
« on: April 24, 2009, 07:34:39 AM »
Anyone on here use grip-loc?  Seems simple enough to install without too much to stock, but is it strong...in the sense of breaking, and also security of not feeling it wiggle or feel loose?  Just curious, never known anyone thats tried it.
Thanks

boy MTD300, i dont need a fancy depth stopper for my drill press.  I drill the hole down to about 2 1/2" then dry fit the outer sleeve so that I can see how much I have left to drill out in order for it to bottom out.  I've also tried Switchgrip and don't need a depth stopper for those either.

Ok, so you're telling me that without using a depth stopper you can get everything EXACT. Wow, you must be good. If your worried about money you must have a $8,000 drill....doubt it. Good luck with whatever you are doing.

Yeah, its a little thing called Trial and Error.  Just so happens that I'm an engineer in my real profession and no I don't have an $8,000 press, just an older VacuJig.  You know MTD300, that little depth gauge on the press works wonders too.

Go F yourself!!

Ok, well you keep getting them "about" right with your "trial and error" ball drilling. Then take some more pictures of your stuff =)

I'll stick to my PERFECT IT's and continue to beat people like you.
