I bought an Enriched Uranium yesterday with the intention of buying a ball that would be good on heavy oil. What I got was a different story. I have got pictures of the layout but I don't know how to upload then to this forum. The ball has only a one inch pin and the way that he set it up was the cg is right above the thumb hole just a bit off to the right, and the pin is above the thumb hole just about centered between my finger holes. The guy that drilled the ball did not tell me what the ball should do, but he told me to try it out and let him know. Well I also have a Solid Uranium, that has the pin just off to the right of the finger holes and the cg lower and to the right. Now to get to the point this new ball I wonted to hook more and then I could calm the Solid down with the cover finish, but when I throw the balls I can stand on the same board and hit the same mark and hit the pocket with both balls. The only difference is that the Solid hooks hard on the back end, and the Enriched is more of an ark with a weaker back end. Well if anyone has any comments or wants to see pics of the ball you can email me at shuturhole316tx@yahoo.com or reply to this. What my plans are right now for this ball is to throw it this week at all 3 houses here in town and see what it dose, and if I am not happy with the ball I am going to take it back to the guy that I bought it from. Thanks for the time and help.

I left a comment on the lane one forum as well. It appears this ball with the pin low by thumb will roll early. That is probably the reason for less backend than your solid U. I would be concerned about the legality of the ball because of possibly too much thumb weight. If it had low starting top weight it may be OK. I for one would not want a pin & cg in that location.

Thanks for the help, I Email Lane #1 with the pics and the problem is solved. Lane #1 got in contact with the pro shop and they have ordered me a new ball.

Its not an oil ball. My teamate threw a 300 with his Friday. It was just right for the condition. Which is medium at most, with nice backends.
