How are these made and where do I find out more info on them? Does anyone use these and like them? How does the feel compare to standard urethane slugs?

It looks awesome, but I'm slightly worried about the feeling of a plug texture instead of urethane in the thumbhole. It would be great to hear from someone that uses these....

i agree, im pretty sure we did a few for mark roth... and i dont think the texture would be a problem, as its like silicon, its really smooth, and even if it wasnt just take a grey scotch brite pad and smooth it out. i do that on all my thumbholes and they are like glass, not to mention it makes my tape stick better too.

Sorry I couldn't answer more earlier, just saw the post and was in a rush!
I use VISE Silicone to make the molds, and I use Ultimate Wizard QuickPlug for the thumb inserts. The texture of this stuff is ALMOST IDENTICAL to a slug. No kidding, it even works out the same.
I have done molds for members here on BallReviews, they've shipped me their ball, and I shipped it back with a few molded thumbs. It's not exactly the cheapest route, but getting the best feel is worth EVERY PENNY.
