Hi all -
This is probably a question that has been asked before, but what is the best method to find the CG with a dodo scale? I have one that is incorrectly marked, but I'm having trouble locating where it should be at. Am I correct in that the CG marking should balance in all directions with the CG straight up (pointing towards the cieling) in the scale?
Appreciate any help.

I'd like to know how to do this myself Dan. I know if you go on the Lane #1 website, there are directions on how to do it for a Buzzsaw, but how to do it for anything else. I don't know how it is done. Sorry, but would like to know.

Try Putting it in a large aquarium filled with water(maybe sth different only thing is it must be balanced) leave it for about 4-5 hours than the ball will be on its heavy spot
this is what i've heard they do in columbia300's factory and i am not sure how correct/accurate is this method
thanks

Its making 250 average every time you bowl

Go to the Lane 1 site under tech, there is a step by step proceedure to follow to find the cg on any ball, much to lengthy to go into here.

Thanks for all the responses. Storm4ever, the lane1 site's instructions should work for any ball as Tekneek indicates. Thank you very much Tekneek - exactly what I was looking for.
Cranker89, wish I had a big aquarium...it would be interesting to try that method, kinda cool way of doing it.
Again, thanks all.

Dan's right, the procedure on the Lane 1 site works for any ball. The only thing special about the Lane 1 is that the diamond logo makes it easier to follow the rotation shifts on the balance. If you have a problem on other balls, try using a wax pencil to draw in a diamond similar to Lane 1's to help you see the way to align the ball in the various steps. -- JohnP
