The one question I have is, can you get an accurate PAP
measurement off of a plastic ball?
The oil line is more definitive too trace and with the
dynamics of the new equipment out there, the 1:30 pin
placement does'nt cut it anymore.
Thanks

Baker,
Plastic sure does make it easier that is for sure...just chuck it up the 20 board like a normal shot and then measure the oil ring...makes life easy. But you can do this with any ball just hard with the soakers out there.

They that can give up essential liberty to obtain a little temporary safety deserve neither liberty nor safety.

Actually it is PREFERRED to take the PAP from a "plastic" ball.
"They" say it is the most accurate way.

Thanks for the info guys! I am not a proshop
operator and our bowling center is in a very
small market, but with the info I can get from
this website, I do recommend various balls too
people. It's hard too explain why $200+ ball
does'nt react like a mid priced ball. I am going
to gain all the knowledge I can, so I can keep
everyone's interest in this great game.
