Dumb layout question
« on: April 13, 2006, 11:04:58 AM »
OK, a dumb question that hopefully can be easily answered. Whats the easiest way to draw a layout when you are using pin to PAP and CG (or MB depending on ball) to PAP measurements? Years ago I was taught to use a compass set to the desired distance you want and the point on the pin and then on the CG, draw an arc on each and then where the arcs intersected, you use the PAP measurement backtracking to get your centerline. Then draw the grip from there.

Surely there is an easier way?

The easiest way is to use an Armadillo.  Place the pin and the cg (or mb) on the appropriate lines, then mark the PAP and go from there.  --  JohnP
