Title: Fine tuning with CG

With symetric balls, how much does chaning the position of the CG from stacked to near the track vs near the PAP? I just got a ball and roughly 4 1/2 inches to pap and told the driller to place it near the pap. No reason except most of the equipment is stacked and was trying something different...

The only concern of the cg location is the static weight as a result or it being moved and if a weight hole is needed to make it legal, along with the placement of the weight hole.

If you watch the vid, at one point is shows how little the core actually moves when the cg is moved from one place to another. The weight of where the cg ends up is the most important thing because of the static weights of the ball. I usually focus on pin placement first, then cg placement. That is to make sure the ball is legal, and or if I'm wanting to add a performance increasing or decreasing weight hole.

The only reason it makes a difference is that the placement of the xhole will be effecting the ball.
