Title: Finger Pitch

 Just a question made a mistake when drilling my new ball I put 3/4 rev on both fingers I have thrown the ball already I notice my flare is much wider and the ball is vicious in the back end so my question is can I hurt my finger if I keep throwing this ball thx for any help

If your talking about your pitches meaning away from your palm, I throw the same since Mike Jasnau suggested if for me since my fingers dont bend that great.

 

Been throwning it that way since 07 and it works fine for me. Dont have any finger pain or problems.

It depends on your span. If your hand/fingers don't feel stressed then it probably won't be an issue. Usually by pitching the fingers under it will stretch your span and cause pain. If you were to shorten your span slightly to make up the difference it wouldn't really be an issue. Such appears to be the case now.

 @kidlost was think of going down an 1/8 in my span to make sure I don't injured my hand  thx for the help

 That's foward pitch. A hole that's drilled toward the center of the ball is always

foward pitch.A hole that is drilled away from the center of the ball is always

reverse pitch.
