I know, this has been discussed practically to death, but alzheimers is setting in.

I'm on a progressive thumb pitch changing kick. Reducing reverse, going to forward until I get to where I hang up. My fingers are pitched 3/8 away from palm and have been during all my changes (from 1/2 reverse in thumb to [currently] zero.) When I make my next change (to 1/8 under the palm) in the thumb I think I need to change the finger pitches as well. How much? What direction? I'm thinking that I'll have to add another 1/8 away (so 1/2 away), yes?

you can add as much reverse (away from palm )to your fingers as you feel comfortable. some players use as much as 7/8 to 1 inch reverse on fingers to smooth out reactions and avoid 'hitting' the ball at the bottom of the swing.

with adding forward to a thumb, check span length and keep in mind a relaxed grip is easier on the hand to use at this point. also keep an eye on beveling, too sharp and you place too much pressure on nerve endings at the base of the thumb with can cause some discomfort.
