CG's Doesnt Matter--continued
« on: March 07, 2005, 02:02:53 AM »
Since this topic is interesting and since it is locked out, I decided to continue it.
I got this off the hammer website...don't know if anyone posted this or not.
Tests have shown that with symmetric and low mass bias asymmetric cores, if you have two balls layed out identical but put the CG in two different locations, there is no conceivable difference in the ball motion. If you have a balance hole in a ball with the CG in a different location, the reason you will have different ball motion is because you have drilled into the core and altered the shape of the core.

Is it me or does this sound like a repetition of the original post?

Are we going through this over again?  I don't think anybody is going to change anybody elses point of view.  No matter how much information is presented.  There will always be one more question at the end.  This could go on forever.

How about we all continue to drill and bowl with what works for us...?  We'll continue to side with Brunswick and you can side with whomever you choose.  I think that's reasonable until something earthshaking takes place.  For now, go with what makes sense to you and bowl well.  Isn't that all that matters?  Bowling, winning, and feeling good about it?

I could care less where the CG is,...as long as I got good statics,..
oh I forgot they don't count either,......I guess I'll be stuck in the dark ages for the rest of time,..cause to me they matter,...

we all love the game,..or we wouldn't be so wrapped up in our convictions,..hey what works for me may not work for you,...I enjoy reading about each one of us having their own ideas,..that's what makes it all fun,..is anybody absolutely (no pun intended) right,..in our own mind we are, that's all that matters...

There is a reason for it to end......There isn't anything left to discuss.  Unless a new video or something comes out, we've gone through and beaten every single aspect to death. Believe me.  That other thread wasn't 13 pages for nothin....

Totally agreed

Maybe we can discuss if CG matters or not on an assymetrical ball with strong MB?
