« on: September 29, 2004, 05:24:22 PM »
What is the general reaction differences of a flip disc at the top and at the bottom?  Or no difference?

Someone told me that the disc on bottom create more reaction than disc on top.

However remember when the disc is pictured on the bottom it is when the ball is initially thrown on top and the grip side of the ball is down on the lane.

Now it makes more sense eh!

An interesting example of this is the Sport ball from Columbia(control ball), the Icon 2 (a flip ball) both had the same core.

Supposedly the same weightblock was used on these balls and I think the Icon 2 was suppossed to be inverted.

REgards,

PS Wicked BRT also had same weightblock  Three balls same weightblock three slightly different looks.  Coverstock a factor too along with amounts of polish.
