Rico drill specs

when drilling rico layouts is there a certain specs on a ball to look for or to avoid

or does it matter at all ???    thanks.

Best to not get a 0-1" pin. Try getting something with a decent pin length. Otherwise, I don't think there is, but I'm not a expert.

About a month ago I asked BrunsRico the following question:

   Is there a better type of ball, or even pin length, top weight, etc that is better suited for this drill?

His response was:

To me, optimum specs are:

Half the distance of your ring finger

Top weight 2.7-3.2OZ

The longer the pin, the larger necessary hole and less variance. The shorter the pin the less variance with size and depth of hole.
The same goes for the top weight, higher-larger and the lower-less.
