Re-Drilling a Left-handed Ball

Hi folks -

Just looking for some opinions.  I just inherited a ball that was drilled lefty, but was wondering if I would be OK plugging it and drilling it right handed for me.  The problem is, the damn thing has a weight hole right about where my track would be on a right handed ball.

Any ideas welcome!

Lefty balls a are a good basis for plugging for a righty - in most cases, the plugged holes end up far away from the new track area, and the new track area has seen little use so far. Unless you want that the plugs cannot be seen by drilling into them, a lefty ball for a righty is IMHO even a better choice than a righty ball.

Never has on any other ball, if it's done right. Right handed balls can also be drilled so that with the new drilling it rolls over a plug. So What? If it's plugged even halfway right, you won't see, feel or notice anything.

If your tracking over 3 or 4 holes, then there could be some slight change since all plugs are urethane and all balls are resin. Even then I've seen some balls perform great with 3 plugings!

The true worry is that at some point the plugs and repeated drillings are affecting the core's dynamics.
