Left handed layouts for a right handed player?

I wont be getting this right away but was wondering about it...

I am finding everything either flys on the backend or my urethane just doesnt get it to move strong enough on the backend... I was wondering if I could get a ball drilled left handed that would be a somewhat milder ball say a medium to medium light ball drill it not with just a negative pin or cg but from top to bottom left handed... What I was thinking is it maybe weak enough for that 3rd game when you got 5 guys blowing holes in the pattern yet have a little more pop to carry a little better then the urethanes....

My favorite ball right now (wild ride) could easily be mistaken as drilled left handed. I was just imagining different layouts and decided to try 80* 6&1/4 90* Pin under middle finger, cg in thumb and mb stacked. I had been given the ball and was not expecting much and surprisingly it is now my go to ball. It is definitely not for oil though, but also not as sensitive to dry. 1st ball that I've been able to use the whole series in a 2nd shift league.

Well, you would be shortening your ring finger span, which should decrease lift.  This should shave off some revs.  Also, the pin to PAP distance would increase, decreasing your flare (not necessarily true for assymetrical).  Things to look out for:  if you track high and go too far pin to PAP, you will clip holes.  If you are looking for a third game drilling I would go pin 5-1/2" to 6" from PAP under your fingers.  This should result in a very even drilling.

Why would this shorten my span at all? I just want the layout to be left handed to fight the core I get the ball turning too hard even for my chainsaw for 3rd game...

It wouldn't.  

Instead of trying to weaken a strong core why don't you try an entry level resin ball with a pancake core?  Maybe even a Power Groove Dry/R, mine reacts a lot like urethane but with more hitting power.  --  JohnP

I struggle with carry with balls that dont have a decent core..... This is why I am looking for a ball with a weak cover but a full core that maybe weaker.... I am thinking a link or maybe freeze, jazz etc...

I guess I misunderstood.  You said top to bottom left hand.  I assume you meant switching middle finger span with ring finger span which is generally longer.  Otherwise negative pin notation would have sufficed.  Also, the weak balls he suggested is just going to hook harder off the dry.  You are right to do this with drilling.  I have a Rising for this situation.  Strong core, weak drill. Works like a charm.

If your biggest issue is polished and pearlized stuff flying on the backend, then this sounds more like a surface prep issue.  What about maybe taking a weaker ball and bringing the ball to 4000 no polish or something like that, in order to get it to read a bit earlier and be smoother in the back.  
On a bit of a side note from the suggestion, i'm just curious why you call this "a left-handed drill?"  Is it simply because you're going to put the pin cg and mb on the "left" side of the ball?  Isn't really practical to just do this, as you haven't mentioned your PAP, revs, ball speed, or anything like that.  The hole fact is you are already having issues with the ball hooking too hard or too much in the back and then want to drill it even weaker to make it go longer?  Just curious.

I am trying to find a ball I can stay more in the say 20 to 8 area or so.....

What I have now is either forcing me VERY deep inside to get it to the pocket and it just ends up a mess from here...

Also to the last person my PAP is as last checked(probably changed since then) 4 out 11/16 throw about 15 to 16mph.... and couldnt tell you the revs I have but on a fresh shot with my h20, radical inferno or my frenzy I play about a 20 out to 8 or 15 out to 18 and can get deeper with it if I needed....

Also I call it left handed as yes my idea was to take a left handed ball in a sense and fit it to my hand.... What I was thinking is a ball drilled like this the core would fight me down the lane and then make just a small pop on the backend... I dont know how better to explain it....

Sorry for another edit but the frenzy is laid out 65x40, raidical inferno is pin above and between fingers with cg kicked slightly... and the h20 is drilled stacked all slightly kicked... I love these 3 balls and my chainsaw is drilled pin beside fingers with cg inside that slightly and x hole low about same level as thumb and out about 2 to 3 inches or so.... I tend to play this ball on fresh about 13 to 8 but on dry it forces me deep too...

Learn how to take rev's off the ball, enough said. Instead of coming off the side of the ball all the time, try coming through the ball up the back of it. This get's the ball to read the lane's a little later and still move off the backend's with predictability. My dad taught me this when I was younger so I tried it, it really work's for when the shot start's to get blown apart in the 2nd shift leauge's.

I usually move just move my hand more to the right side of the ball as the night goes on so I put less turn on it that way until I get to a suitcase release but just dont like the feel this gives me.... Maybe next sunday my coach will be able to work on this release with me.....
