Vise exactacted thumb slugs
« on: May 16, 2014, 05:29:25 AM »
I recently purchased the vise exactacation kit to make thumb molds.  I know vise makes a color kit but I was wondering did anyone have better success using any other companies color????

Example: I used a dba black and poured a mold and it came out a light gray color.

Use about 3 times as much as you'd usually use and it will be black.  The fast cure plug needs a lot of tint.

Either one or get a bottle of the Wizard black.  It comes in a much bigger bottle.
